Flue Gas Desulphurization

The Flue-Gas Desulfurization (FGD) process employs a number of technologies to remove sulfur dioxide (SO2) from coal-fired power plant flue gas emissions. FGD systems were created in response to the exhaust – flue gases – from fossil fuel-burning plants, primarily coal-burning plants, which posed an environmental and human health hazard.

Application

  • High SOx Removal Efficiency (Over 95%)
  • Available With Re-Heater & Integrated Stack
  • Low Power Consumption
  • Up Gradable to Meet Future Norms By-product Recovery
  • Free From Scaling & Plugging
  • Optimum Cost of Operation
  • Low Blow Down Rate & Water Usage

Process

The process of FGD is designed to absorb the sulfur dioxide in the flue gas before it is released. This is accomplished through either a wet or a dry process.

Our Services

In the food industry, spraying tower drying plants are used in the production of pulverized goods (milk powder, baby food, etc.).
